My Experience

My AIESEC Story

I started my journey on october 2017, I followed the recruitment process , I got accepted and i managed to attend my first conference named " Bizerta Peprally 2K17 ".
Back then, i discovered the AIESEC WAY which represents the Vision, mission and the values of this  international organization. And that was the reason to stay and  somehow a turning point in my life.

I got accepted in the Business Development Department after working on my application and I started my work in this key area. I learned the basics of the work, and with the support of the team, we succeeded in generating new sales leads, won negotiations with some potential partners and we helped our organization maximize and develop its profit.
During my experience as a team member I applied in two OC Teams "Organization Committees " in two different projects :

Health Awarness 3.0
I was part of an amazing team where we collaborated in order to prepare 4 health caravans in remote areas in Bizerte. We collected medical materials and we contacted different doctors with the participation of Exchange participants from different nationalities :
( Algeria , China , Morroco , Turkey ....)
We also launched a marketing campaign in order to promote our actions and raise awareness.

Evently Yours 2.0
We Prepare a big event, It aims to promote interpreuneurship mindset. Different, influencers and startup creators were present during the event.
Me and the team, we were working on organizing the logistics and marketing for this event. It was a success and we impacted a young generation.

During the first mandate, AIESEC Bizerte managed to organize more than two big events,  6 volunteering projects and more than 124 Exchange experience,  in which i was contributing as a novice business developer.
During the second term I applied as a Finance and Legality manager where I learned how to manage the finance within an organization and learned the finance standards (Budgeting, Accounting, Reporting, Legality, Auditing, Sustainability)

I had the chance to deliver my first session about treasury in order to raise the financial awareness.
During this term I contributed as a manager in the projects and events held by our movement.

AIESEC Bizerte managed to prepare two big events , 4 volunteering projects , 2 professional projects and 94 exchange experiences .
My experience did not stop and i convinced myself to continue and apply for higher levels, so decided to send my application in order to get the Finance & Legality Vice President position.
After a long General Asssembly and a long process I  was elected to be part of the next Executive Board for the term 19-20
It was my first experience as a team leader and my first exeprience as part of an executif team. I had a crucial position related to financial ressources of the entity.

I was responsible for all financial decisions and my managers, but hopefully it was an exciting experience full of ups and downs.

During this mandate , me and my team ( Executif Board ) , managed to organize two recruitment phases , 3 local conferences in which i was a facilitator and a speaker , 2 big events , 3 professional projects, raised 5 volunteering projects, more than 167 exchange experiences and we won two national awards in two key areas.

As a journey that lasted almost 4 years in AIESEC, it was amazing and hectic at the same time, an assembly of hard-work, determination and resilience. It was not easy. To reach a goal you have to fight as hard as you can. If you are swiping your sweat by the end it means you have made it . I hope we did, we just gave it our all. As a moral of my story and many others, aim high for giants are born to shoot for the stars . Despite the challenges and tough situations, I'm proud that i made an impact on myself first , on others and in my country.
